Another year is ending and a new one will begin soon which mean, resolution time. What is/are your resolutions?
Here are some tips on how to have a successful resolution:
- Keep it simple.
- Set achieveable goals
- Make steps
- Don’t be too hard on yourself
- Enjoy your achievements
For example, if you want to lose 15lbs, instead of adopting a fad diet and dramatically changing your eating habits, start by eliminating junk food or unhealthy snacks. Substitute them with healthy snacks that you can prepare ahead of time. Once you have built that habit into your routine, change something else. Keep changing things a little at a time.
From a TCM prespective, here are some tips to help your digestive system.
- eliminate dairy
- decrease sugar
- eat cooked foods
- consume warm liquids and foods
Some days will be more difficult than others to make changes. It’s ok. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Remember, it’s a process to change any habit.
